On Sunday, Sept. 8th, 2019 CH3 held its annual Color Walk at the picturesque Overpeck County Park in New Jersey for the first time. The Color Walk is a fundraiser organized and executed by high school members of CH3 NJ, NYC and Long Island. Funds were raised through generous support by donors and sponsors, coveted raffle prizes and registration fees from the 150+ walkers in attendance. The energetic Bollywood workout led by Rujuta Vaidya, having vibrant colors applied at each mile marker and the beautiful weather together created an extremely fun morning for all. CH3 proudly reports a hugely successful event which brought in a little over $10,000. The funds collected will be used to send several children from a shelter in Newark, NJ to a summer camp in 2020. This is “Children Helping Children” in action!
