Description: This program works to realize the untapped potential of India’s rural children through a three-pronged approach: educate, empower and equip for employment. We reach out to 3400 children from 322 villages of Maharashtra. The project looks to reinstate/sustain possible secondary school dropouts (from the 11-18 year age group) and work with the children, their families, school and community to ensure they are able to become financially independent.

Criteria of selection: All children come from families that live below the poverty line. Preference is given to orphans, single parent and neglected children.

Services:
1. Education material essential to sustain children in school
2. Empowerment programs – holistic development of the child is the main focus. Weekend workshops are all focused on leading to the child’s empowerment.
3. Student friendly supplementary education program- provides special inputs to the children in two key subjects, Math and English. They receive this education every day of the week.
4. Extracurricular programs – sports, talent, art, drama and more.
