CHI - Ekalavya School, Hyderabad

Situated in the vertical slum in Nandanavanam, Hyderabad, Ekalavya School is a haven for first generation learners from households with an average monthly income of ₹12,000 ($150). Over 300 students receive excellent education resulting in a 100% pass rate with 100% of students receiving first-class grades (above 60%) for the past five years. The average grade point average is 8.4 out of 10.

CHI college scholarships have allowed many of the students to realize their dreams, attend colleges in medicine, engineering, business, computer science and law. Two are attending the prestigious IIT schools. Working at multinational companies they often earn in one month what the parents made in a year.

CHI Girls School (CHIGS), Bhopal

CHIGS in Gandhinagar Bhopal, provides superior quality education to over 630 girls at minimal cost. School buses bring girls from the nearby villages to a world class institute with state of the art classrooms, equipped with smart boards, a computer lab, a library, and specialized laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology. The girls are also encouraged to develop their interests and talents, in music, arts, sports, public speaking and more. A Tinkering Lab exposes them to Robotics and AI.

The students has participated in intra and interstate competitions, winning prized awards in arts, debates, community service, promoting organ donations and much more. In the Grade X board exams of 2024, the school achieved an impressive pass rate of 96%.


CHI - Hope Primary School, Bhuj

This school was built following the devastating earthquake in Bhuj, Gujarat, in 2001, which resulted in the loss of 20,000 lives. Since then the school has established a reputation for excellence in education. The school incorporates intuitive learning software, field trips and, extracurricular activities, for a well-rounded nurturing experience. It currently serves 239 students, from preschool to Grade VIII. It provides exceptional play based early education, a remedial program for those needing the extra hand, focused on foundational literacy and numeracy.

The continuous teacher training program has led to a highly qualified and dedicated staff that motivates the students to aim and reach higher.
The school plans to add two more grades so the students can take Grade X state board exams and graduate from their school of choice.

CHI - Jagati Govt. Middle School, Jammu

Amidst the stories of turmoil and displacement within the Kashmiri migrant community, CHI-Jagati School has emerged as a sanctuary of hope and progress. Quality education, fostering dreams and aspirations for future generations. The goal is to provide a safe and engaging learning environment to the over 5,000 refugee families that live in this settlement.

In collaboration with the Jammu Government, CHI built a wing for the preschool nursery program providing a play based Early Childhood Education (ECE) program, and remedial interventions for students from Grades I to VIII, benefiting over 215 students. A computer center and additional teachers share the load of a growing and vibrant student body.
