CHI - Vikaspuri, Delhi

Children’s Hope (CH) launched the Vikaspuri project in 2019 with the aim of providing exceptional early childhood education, remedial support, and tuition to the children of daily wage earners and rickshaw pullers in the slum. The students are also provided with nutritious snacks, including milk, fruits, lentils, yogurt, and salad.

CHI - Bindapur, Delhi

Children’s Hope (CH) established a center in the Bindapur slum, home to vegetable and fruit sellers, as well as daily wage earners. The center is equipped with spacious classrooms and offers a play-based curriculum for preschoolers, along with remedial support for grades 1 to 8. It also provides tuition for slow learners and access to computers to promote digital literacy.

CHI - Anand Parbat, Delhi

The community consists of puppeteers who, due to the lack of proper livelihoods, have transitioned into working as industrial workers, laborers, and domestic help. The center offers early childhood education, a crèche for working parents, remedial learning, as well as meals and snacks to 450 students.

CHI - Seelampur, Delhi

Children from the Seelampur slum attend classes at this center, which offers a play-based early childhood education (ECE) curriculum. Additionally, the center provides a remedial curriculum in English and Math for students in grades I to VIII.

CHI - Falkland Road, Mumbai

The project aims to provide educational support to children from the red-light area of Falkland Road. It offers play-based ECE curriculum, foundational literacy and numeracy for grades I to VII, as well as access to psychosocial counseling.

CHI - Sewri, Mumbai

The project is located in Indira Nagar, Sewri, where the majority of the population consists of immigrants from Uttar Pradesh working as daily wage laborers, drivers, and domestic workers. Over 300 students are enrolled in various courses, including ECE, remedial learning, computer programs, and a reading program.

CHI - Cuffe Parade Mumbai

Underprivileged children from the Colaba transit camp attend this center. In addition to play-based ECE and remedial learning, the center offers Math and Science labs for experiential learning, as well as computer classes to ensure digital literacy for over 800 students.

CHI - Palghar, Maharashtra

Palghar district is home to several tribal communities facing unique socio-economic challenges. The center provides easy access for the local community to pursue play based preschool education along with tuition in English, Science, and Math for students in grades I to VII

CHI - Aganwa Basti, Jodhpur

The project addresses the educational needs of these refugees, offering high-quality services in early childhood education, remedial education, and mental health awareness. The children are provided with snacks that include banana, chikki, biscuits, and bread.
