The Educate A Child program empowers children to secure a better present and brighter future by ensuring that their educational journey is holistic, and their development wholesome.
Children’s Hope India is educating children in the community of Gandhi Nagar Bhopal and the surrounding villages.
About Gandhi Nagar: On the outskirts of Bhopal this suburb has a population of about 60,000. It is surrounded by 40 villages each with a population of 5,000-6,000. The primary livelihood of people here is agriculture, hawkers, peons, household help and menial jobs. Most people here live below the poverty line. The average monthly income begin Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10000 a month (approximately $60 to $125 a month).
Your donation of $250 will enable a child to attend school and continue their education preventing dropouts for financial reasons.
Program Details
How is the money used? Educational expenses will cover the following:- School fees
- Textbooks, supplies, calculator, stationery
- Uniform and sweater
- Medical support
- Daily mid-day nutritious meal

Journey of Impact
Natasha* is a Class VII student at CHIGS, Bhopal (Children's Hope India Girls School, Bhopal), and is also part of the EAC program. Her father, the sole breadwinner, struggles to make ends meet as a shoe seller operating on the sidewalk. His unstable business, heavily impacted by unpredictable weather conditions, leaves the family in a constant financial crunch. Yet Natasha refuses to let her circumstances hold her back. Her unwavering determination and consistent academic performance speak volumes about her strength of character.
Natasha’s positive attitude, even in the face of hardship, is an inspiration for her peers. She has a wealth of hidden talents that deserve to be nurtured, but financial limitations have been a significant barrier in fully honing those skills. With the support of the Educate a Child program or EAC, Natasha is now confident that her dedication will lead her to future success, equipping her to realize her dreams and uplift her family.
