The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the shift from physical classrooms to tech enabled teaching / learning. Digital teaching and learning became a norm, paving the path for creative and innovative didactic methodologies and tools.

The Need

Digital literacy is:

  1. An integral part of 21st century skill sets.
  2. Serves as a critical component in the teaching / learning process.

How We Help

  1. Most CHI projects are equipped with digital devices that make the teaching / learning experience more experiential, interesting and interactive.
  2. Digital connectivity allows us to bridge the digital divide.
  3. With the growing use of AI, and the dominance of social media, understanding the judicious use of digital platforms is vital.
  1. The Child Learning Assisted by Parents App (CLAP) ensures better interaction between parents and children (over 95% of the parents are regularly active in the early education of their children).
  2. Our current partnership with Tribes For Good, and the sponsorship of devices by the Partners Group, have helped strengthen our digital literacy pillar.
