October 9, 2016 – This past Sunday at the ‘Hope in Hyderabad’ Gala, Hope indeed became Reality! A heartfelt thanks to all of you for supporting Children’s Hope India and helping to bring educational programs to impoverished children.
Our wonderful honorees–Mohit Assomull and NV “Tiger” Tyagarajan–spoke passionately about the collective work we must do to ensure that every child has a chance at a bright future. We were honored to present Dr. G. K. Jayaram, our champion of CHI’s school in Hyderabad, with the Making a Difference Award. Master of Ceremonies, Reena Ninan, shared our work with conviction, and helped convey our passion to create a better life for our children.
From the decor to the food to the music, silent auction and Auctioneer John Heffernan, it was the caring efforts of so many individuals that made the evening possible. We are humbled and honored by the unstinting generosity from our friends who have supported us since the beginning, as well as the many new faces who we are delighted to welcome to the Children’s Hope family.
Next year, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary! Gala 2017 date coming soon! In the meantime, we thank you – and the CHI children thank you for your support.
