2021

2021 was a truly challenging year for our beneficiaries and donors alike as we faced threats to health, security and livelihood. Yet, 2021 was also inspiring, as individuals came together to respond to these crises, adapt and innovate the status quo, and re-emerge stronger and more impactful than before.

Now, the learnings and inspiration from 2021 have empowered us to grow and scale our approach to improving educational outcomes for children in at-risk communities. As we look to the next chapter of CHI, we are investing in the 30/30 program to provide tangible services in early childhood and remedial education, while staying true to our Whole Child approach.

30/30 Areas of Focus

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Digital Learning
  • Remedial Learning
  • Career Development
  • Health & Nutrition
  • Mental Health & Wellbeing

2020

The Children’s Hope India community, like everyone around the world, faced many obstacles in 2020–from finding healthcare and confronting the COVID pandemic, to establishing virtual learning channels and training teachers and students in new modes of learning. But the community came together and persevered:

  • Launching 310,107 remote learning sessions
  • Delivering 909,823 meals
  • Connecting 53,050 individuals with doctors and nurses
  • Powering 124,077 hours of counseling and support
  • And now, with the Second Wave of infection devastating the community, impacting 538,708 individuals with COVID-19 Relief

The resilience, responsiveness and compassion displayed by every member of the community truly inspired a new sense of hope for a better future. We are so proud of those efforts and so grateful to our dedicated community. We hope you are uplifted by the impact on these pages and find a sense of strength in their stories.
