CHI students around India are creating school gardens in their communities, helping to renew the rural villages and urban slums where they live while also providing a hands-on learning experience in nutrition and science. The project started when students in Delhi converted an abandoned lot into a vegetable garden. There, they learned firsthand the importance of caring for your community, daily habits and cultivation, and a healthy and balanced diet.
